Requirements & Selection process

Everyone who fulfils the below requirements can become an Engineer in Action for the Metals Sector:

• Strong academic background in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Mining Engineers)
• Willingness to relocate to regions in Greece where METLEN operates within the Metals Sector: Viotia, Fokida, and Oinofyta.
• Fulfilled military service (for male candidates).
• Recent graduate with maximum 2 years work experience
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
• Strong alignment with METLEN’s core values:

Application process:

STEP 1: Application Submission: Fill in the application form by 06/04.

STEP 2: Online Assessment: Show us your skills, knowledge and abilities using our digital platform.

STEP 3: Virtual Speed Discussions: Learn more about the program, the selection process, and connect with METLEN's Talent Acquisition experts.

STEP 4: Onsite Assessment Center: Demonstrate your potential through practical challenges and teamwork exercises at the "Aluminium of Greece" facilities in Viotia. (Transportation to and from the facilities is provided by METLEN upon request.)

STEP 5: Senior Leadership Discussions: Have a short discussion with senior leaders of the metallurgy plant to explore alignment and gain insight into the plant’s direction and expectations.

STEP 6: Offer: Congratulations! If you have successfully passed our selection process, you will receive a competitive compensation package and officially join the Engineers in Action Metals team. With great pleasure we will welcome you to METLEN in July 2026.
